“Fun place, good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Fun atmosphere, good breakfast food. They accommodate special requests with ease. It's a lot of food for each order, the coffe is served very hot and is as delicious as their hot chocolate, not to mention the great Mimosas! Oh, let me not forget: Charles Aznavour - Great music playing! We will be back, friends!

“Terrible Service!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

This has to be the worst service I have ever had. I don't usually leave reviews on restaurants, but this one deserves a 'CONSUMER WATCHOUT', because from the outside, it looks very traditional, quaint and welcoming, but DO NOT ENTER.

We sat for 20 minutes before even talking to a server and the table next to us complained twice to the server about the wait for their food...we should have taken this as a clue!
The servers were rushing around making customers feel uncomfortable and give all of their tables attitude, then smoking out in front of the restaurant for everyone to see.

I ordered the French Soup and Quiche combo and my girlfriend a prosciutto sandwich. She said it was the worst prosciutto sandwich she has ever had and our food took almost an hour. They didn't even have quiche, so I substituted it for a sandwich and ended up getting charged for both separately. My girlfriend and I felt like we were purposely being ignored.

Just please take my advice and AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!

“Best value in the neighborhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Hands down the best value if you're looking for a sandwich in the neighborhood. The cassoulet is pricier but also excellent, and they even serve breakfast during lunch!

“Best Sandwich in the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

I've been a customer at the Villette for over a year, returning regularly for lunch. They have some of the best sandwich in the city, with an impressive variety. The bread is fresh, and you can see that they put some serious care into their making their sandwiches. If you work in the area, this is a definitely a good place to pick up a sandwich. If you have some more time, feel free to sample from their impressive menu. Villette doesn't disappoint.

“Total rip off”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

How can you have cassoulet and a sandwich and end up with over a $50 check. The duck leg (a non confit chicken leg) added to the cassoulet was an additional $15! Their pricing is confusing - and they are structured to separate you money from your wallet. Don't bother to go ...
