“Amazing Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

The Hotel is great, the staff is amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The linens were first class, bed was firm and comfortable. Within walking distance of shopping area (st. Catherine) and plenty of amenities nearby. The highlight was the staff. Every time we walked in or out of the hotel one of the concierge staff asked if they could be of assistance. Top notch.

Room Tip: Best to request a room that does not face Sherbrooke as sirens and traffic can be heard from "f...

Typical mid-range hotel chain. Rooms are smart, clean and spacious as you would expect from a Hilton, service was good, food average. The concierge on the front door were very helpful and informed.

Location is excellent, easy walking distance to McGill, UQAM, underground city and car hire pick up & drop off points.

Room Tip: Top floors are quieter

Typical Center City hotel, fast moving, parking is a pain, you have park on the road check in then you given access. Packing is very expensive at 25 a night while less than 50 ft. 9.75 for 24 hrs,
Rooms are clean and well equiped large enough for your needs, would recommend to work associates and friends

Very good hotel, classic. The room was big and pretty comfortable. The washroom was big, though towel racks would have been useful. The staff was courteous. The rooftop pool, hot tub and exercise room provided for a fairly nice view of the city. The free wifi was nice and generally reliable. We did not have breakfast as part of the package; the price tag for the breakfast buffet was prohibitive for a family. There are many breakfast options nearby. The hotel was pretty busy, but it was still fairly calm and quiet. The hotel is also well-situated within walking distance of the downtown core (rue Sainte-Catherine). The parking was around $25 per day, somewhat expensive, but rather normal for downtown Montréal. Overall, good value for money.

The hotel offers classic comfort; there is no particular charm, no extra touches or specific attention. Of course, if that is what you are looking for, chances are you are not looking at the Hilton. For a family two-day vacation in Montréal, this hotel was a good choice.

Stayed one night in a room with two queen sized beds.

Pros
- spacious room, clean
- no bed bugs
- 20 minute walk from VIA; 15 minutes from Complexe Desjardins
- large room, smoke free
- TV, free wi-fi, fridge, safe, microwave
- ice and pop machine on floor
- extremely quiet
- bilingual staff
- made-to-order breakfast; buffet is optional

Neutral
- bathtub caulking could be cleaner
- possible noise from nearby construction during the day?
- breakfast servers could be a tad more attentive
- no night light in the bathroom
- location of microwave near the smoke detector

This hotel is either new, or, newly redone. My room was comfortable. A bit of an odd configuration in that you walked into a room w/ a table and 4 chairs. Then turned the corner and found the bedroom etc. Very large bedroom. Everything was as it should be. My ONLY "complaint" is that there is NO WHERE to set any bath products OTHER than the bar of soap. There is no tub, only a shower, and no shelf to place ones shampoo or liquid shower soap. They won't fit on the soap holder (they just fall off). But otherwise, all was as it should be!

Arrived and found everything to be perfect. Even the drinks in the vending machines were reasonably priced. I would say he staff was outstanding- even the maintenance person was happy to go and fetch me some towels for the pool- and was so nice about it! Location was easy to find, easy to get to and close to major attractions. The pool is very nice and great if yo have kids. Will definitely stay when in Montreal again.
