“Best lunch in old MTL”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

If you're looking for an absolutely cute place to take some friends from out of town for lunch, this is THE place.
Located on St Paul street Olive et Gourmando has everything to please you.

Charming spot !
Best sandwich in town!
I'm a fan of "The Cuban".
There's a great selection of tasty healthy salads, soups, homemade ricotta served with grilled bread and the best viennoiserie in town.
The Brownie is to die for but sincerely every single item on the menu is delicious.

Vegans and vegetarians also have several options there.

Some people say it's expensive. I don't think so. They simply use very good product.

Place get CROWDED for lunch . I suggest you get there before 11h45 or after 2pm to avoid rush time

“I love this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

A great place to stop and have lunch at when in Old Montreal. Lunch time gets a bit busy, but they still manage to serve people fairly quickly. If you're a newbie to this restaurant don't worry, the servers are very helpful.
Their sandwiches, sweets, and coffee are all excellent!

I highly recommend!

“Stunning soups”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

I ended up eating lunch here again and again: Their daily soups were incredibly good. The only disappointment was salad 24; bland tofu and hard to eat grated veggies without much flavor. Staff is very friendly, ambiance is casual and upbeat.

“Tasty lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

Definitely worth a trip. We enjoyed a chicken panini with the salad of the day and a pork panini with the soup of the day. All the food was excellent. The drinks were a little on the small side for the price. We had a 10 minute wait at the door due to the popularity but we were well looked after. Would definitely go again.

“Go for the pastries”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

Managed to get breakfast before we returned to the States. It was very good, especially the pastries. Not a wide selection overall, but worth going. Great location on Rue St. Paul in Old Montreal. Closed on Sunday & Monday.
