I had high hopes for this restaurant after reading the previous reviews. We ordered the Titanic boat for 4; the starters included a salad (tasty and served in a chilled bowl) or miso soup (served lukewarm and was overly salty). The boat looked nice, but only had a few pieces of tuna sashimi, a few pieces of salmon sashimi, some thinly sliced tuna nigiri, salmon nigiri, and shrimp nigiri. The majority of the boat consisted of 2 deep fried rolls and a number of other of futomaki rolls that consisted of mostly vegetables rather than the expected individual pieces of nigiri sushi and/or sashimi. These types of rolls are typically found in all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants because they are inexpensive. It is hard to justify a $118 bill for this boat for this selection of sushi/sashimi. Moreover, the service was indifferent to surly even though we were the only patrons in the restaurant after 9 PM. I had to get up and hunt down the waiter to obtain the bill; he had already changed out of his uniform before he presented the bill. Because there is no shortage of Japanese restaurants in the greater Montreal area, I would not recommend this restaurant.
