The service at this hotel is above reproach. The staff are friendly, the food is fantastic, and the surrounding area is beautiful.

Not everything on their website is on the mark, however. For instance, their is supposed to be a Husky breeder 'on site', but it's actually a 40 minute drive from the hotel. After travelling to what seems like the edge of civilization to get there, I wasn't trekking any further. Unfortunately, the pool was closed when we were there too . . . odd in June.

The Hotel is aesthetically wonderful and the food is on par with the enchantress location. However it happened that a wedding was celebrated at the hotel the first night we were there, and an after hour took place in a room close to ours. Needless to say it was impossible to sleep, many calls and in person discussion with the concierge later he was still unable to make the other guest be quiet. He finally moved us to another room (at 3 AM...) where we were able to sleep a little bit. No other compensation were offered. After our return home, I've sent a complaint letter to the hotel and never received answer from them. So for the price it's a big disappointment.

Hotel Sacacomie is beautiful. It is tucked far away in the mountains in Quebec. We called it a log cabin castle! The accommodations weren't luxurious, but very nice and comfortable. We had a huge room that served our family of 5 very well. We chose only a "partial view" of Lake Sacacomie but it was less expensive. We also chose to do "half board" for our meal plan which meant breakfast and dinner only. You should chose to eat at the hotel as it is rather secluded. The hotel's restaurant food was delicious with many options for dinner and dessert. Breakfast was a great buffet. The lake is beautiful and many things are free (kayaks, canoes and paddleboats). The excursions that we took were also very fun (bear and beaver sightseeing and a fishing trip). There are a whole list of interesting and fun things to do. We especially loved that we felt like we were truly far-away in another country as we are from the U.S. Most of the people visiting the resort were French Canadians or Europeans. The staff speaks English and were all very helpful and nice. I think it's a wonderful "out-doorsy" adventure when you visit Hotel Sacacomie yet peaceful and relaxing at the same time.

Stayed there 3 days. This is a superior quality hotel in a terrific setting. Really unique experience. Plenty of outdoor activities (boating, bear watching, hiking...), lake Sacacomie is great and not crowded, hotel service is very good. Hotel breakfast on the terrace is terrific. Will definitely go back - probably one of the best hotel experience we had in "outdoor" North America

We went with our 3 children (5, 10 and 12 yrs), we stayed for 2 nights in suite 320. Fantastic scenery, great place to enjoy with the children, good variaty and quality of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner (no other restaurants in the area). Excursions a bit too expensive.
