It's good that the place is small and not that well known because locals like us can still get a table relatively easily. In short, this place is among the best ones in Québec City for discerning foodies who don't care for decor and chairs.We've steadily patronized it since its opening 5 years ago, and we're still amazed by the unfailing commitment and intelligence of the staff, the range of privately imported organic and biodynamic wines we never see anywhere else, and the sheer fun of dish presentation. I'll say this in all honesty: we're just back from yet again a few days in New York where we've tried great places; we thanked God for having a gem like Le Moine Échanson two blocks away from home. Please don't tell anyone.
