The reason we stayed at this hotel was the restaurant. As guests in the hotel we were given a voucher for a 10% discount on food at dinner. It was a lovely evening and we sat outside. We were given the all day menu but on asking for the dinner menu, it was was quickly provided. The service was friendly and knowledgable. I started with soup de jour which was curried carrot and parsnip--excellent followed by a grilled salmon in sesame seed crust which was also excellent. DH had seafood chowder and rack of lamb which he also enjoyed. We found the coffee a bit thin for our taste but we prefer a dark roasted strong European style coffee.
We also had breadfast the next morning on the outdoor deck. The food was delicious but the coffee was weak.
