This is one wonderful golf course. Beautiful - and yet a severe test of golf.
A good deal of the course has a very linksy feel. There are a few holes that are literally right next to north shore of PEI. You can hit your ball on to the beach if you push it right. And, yet, there are inland parts of the course that are narrow and surrounded by dense thickets of ball-eating pine trees.
We got "lucky" enough to show up to play Crowbush on a day with wind gusts of over 30 miles an hour. It made the linksy part of Crowbush quite a test that day, but great fun and great scenery.
You will love the holes that lie adjacent to the Gulf of St Lawrence, and the 6 flights of stairs to the back tees at 11 are worth the trip to get a view of the whole area including the course and the Gulf.
