“Not good for the price..”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014

Though I adore Cows ice cream, logo, and company history, I wasn't a huge fan of the tour. It was "ok," but really just a hallway where you look through windows and watch videos of how the ice cream and cheese are made. Afterward they take you in a side room and give you a little sample of one of their ice creams. My friend did a tour of the Ben & Jerry's factory in the US and said she was given samples for 15 different flavours! It's a cute little tour, but the price they ask is way too high for what you get. If more samples were added it would be much better.

“Great stop!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

This tour is very enjoyable. If you like ice cream this is the place but we found the cheese fantastic. Definitely a great stop!

“Great ice cream, no tour”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

We happened to stop by on a week day and they only produce ice cream on the weekends (maybe because it was fall?), so we didn't pay to take the tour. You can get the ice cream in Charlottetown if you're not interested in seeing ice cream being made. Might be fun for families with children.

“Don't waste your time or money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

This "tour" cost $5/pp and there is no touring. They only make ice cream on certain days so basically we spent our time watching silly videos. Most of the time they talked about the t-shirts and not the ice cream. And the shop is more of a t-shirt shop than an ice cream shop.

“Great tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

We did the factory tour at Cows Creamery ($5 admission each), and what a delight it was. It started with a short video about making their premium ice cream (which is the best we've ever had), then continued with stops at their T shirt-making area, cheese-aging area, and ice cream making area. There were samples along the way of ice cream, cheese, and cow chips (chocolate-covered potato chips). We were there on a Sunday, so no one was working in the areas we visited, but they had videos showing what happens in them. Very informative, and a company that has fun while being serious with keeping high quality in their products. Check out the T shirts - very inventive.
