“Mediocre church on PEI...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

If you've seen 10 churches then this one is nothing to write home about. I guess it could be worse... Better things to do and see on the island

“Religion collects money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Okay, so Rome has a Basilica, so why shouldn't Charlottetown have one?
A gorgeous visit, and not over the top with religious icon.

Look for Father MacEachern's ATV in the far right corner.

“Time for reflection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

It's worthwhile to take some time from a busy schedule as a visitor to visit St. Dunstan's Basilica. It's right in front of Province House in the centre of the downtown area so you can't miss it. Go inside, take a seat in a pew and just relax and reflect on where you are in your life. Add a little prayer for all the wonderful things that you've received and add your thanks byperhaps lighting a candle and making a donation. Don't leave until you wander around the lovely interior and check out the unique rose window and organ. Did you hear the very soft music playing in the background?

“Definitely worth the visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

Directly across from The Great George Hotel, the basilica is a must-see. We attended mass on the Sunday morning and got a good sense of the community. Beautiful and so ornate. Historical and cultural experience.
