This place is really hard to rate overall for the following examples. The interior is seafaring rustic and quite small and clean. You are elbow to elbow with those surrounding your table so if you want quaint and quiet, go elsewhere. The food, their specialty production is fresh lobster served with a large pan of mussels and a tasty potato salad, is very good, but I’ve had the same at Port Canaveral and Portland for less money and the same quality. I had expected the local pricing at the docks, about $5.00 per pound, to be reflected in the quoted “market price” from the server. Other menu items are priced better but still can be found almost anywhere else there is a seaport fishing city and taste about the same as this place. Luckily, the staff and servers in particular are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and they deserve the highest ratings. Charlottetown is full of seafood restaurants and recommend giving them a shot so you can compare and sample their offerings too.
