“Great place to figure skate.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

As a Canadian adult figure skater I love the Friday Figure Skating Practice ice. I wish there was ice available a few more times a week for Figure Skating Practice at the WFCU Centre maybe during weekdays from 11 AM to 1 PM.

“It is, After All, Just an ice Hockey Arena”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

This is a lovely sports and athletic complex with plenty of parking. It is home of a .local hockey Team, the "Windsor Spitfires" and it hosts assorted other events such as concerts. It is a fine hockey arean but, on the whole, a very mediocore location for concerts. This "ain't" no music venue. Food services are good but with a large, for example, concert or circus crowd, space seems limited and staff seem either overworked or indifferent. Curling tournements are also held here and it is absolutely ideal for curling or other ice related events.

“excellant convention venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Location, access, parking, climate control. Perfect for our assembly. We had 3500 in attendance and the facility handled this easily and comrortably.

“Comfortable Seating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

Have had occasion to visit arena for a Jr hockey game. Seats are comfortable, washrooms reasonably clean and lines at minimum.
The food in this place is typical sports venue junk. What it lacks in nutrition and taste it makes up for in over pricing and long lines. An odd design of this place has food service queues blocking the walking to and from the washrooms. However, if you are fortunate enough to find a seat up in the second floor restaurant, you will be treated to the same food , with less of a queue, and a great view of the game.
Parking lot is difficult to get in and out of because there is only one entrance that is forever jammed at end of event.
There appears to be community skating rinks as part of this building. I did not visit that area and am not sure if you can get between the two areas, when Jr games are on. There are a couple of overpriced gift shops on main concourse.
I can not imagine going to a concert in this arena. (or any arena for that matter) Acoustics must be terrible. Although, there are no bad seats in the place, so visibility is not an issue.
Location of this building is questionable too. It is in the middle of nowhere. No hotels nearby, no restaurants within walking distance, nothing to do in the area. I am not even sure if this arena is serviced by public transportation. Some of the local pubs offer shuttle service to the games, which lets them capitalize before and after the game, on the W.F.C.U. centre food and parking.
Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable place to see a hockey game, but no convenient place to go before or after the game.
