“Yummo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

2 couples met for dinner at The Willistead on July 13/13. Although the menu is limited, the food was top notch, interesting and unique. The waiter was friendly, helpful and very attentive. We had a very pleasurable time on the outdoor patio. We will definitely go again to try more items on the menu. I had the beet salad and it was soooo good!! Fresh ingredients and food that you wouldn't typically make at home made it a wonderful experience.

“Girls' Night Out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

8 women met at The Willistead on July 10th for dinner and wine. The food was delicious, local farm-to-table fresh...the service was impeccable...the wine all from local wineries. Fabulous restaurant ! 2nd time there, and looking forward to the next visit.

“Impressive local wine list”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

I always try and support restaurants that source locally produced ingredients and wine. This is what The Willistead is all about. Tasty food items, fresh and local. The wine list is also mostly all local wines which is a great idea.

A hidden treasure in Windsor.

“I Love Something Different!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Although the menu is small by many standards, this menu covers it all. Locally sourced items and a unique twist on some standards like the Beef Tongue Corned Beef Reuben. Also the sides are enough to share, making the meal costs very reasonable. The wine selection is mostly local and covers a wide range of pallets. I here that the beer selection is comparable. The scallops are perfectly seared and worth it as an appetizer as we had them! The outdoor patio service was a bit slow, but overall, the experience..delicious!
