Did a regular family visit to Windsor and decided to stay at the Comfort Inn. The front desk staff were very friendly and accomodating. Got a second floor room which was very clean and tidy. The fridge and microwave were new. The bathroom was clean and to a good standard. The bed was firm and comfortable, unlike other stays we've had at chain hotels, that will remain nameless, where the beds sagged like a hammock, and contributed to a lousy stay. The breakfast was ample and had good variety. Good value hotel. Recommended stay.

We were traveling through area on a long trip with family (including small dog). We were accomodated with a ground floor room with sliding door to th outdoors - perfect, given the puppy. The room was, however, clearly in need of updating; but generally clean. The breakfast was as expected.

The first thing is the people you encounter. I believe half the experience of an enjoyable stay is due to the staff members you meet. It could go either way. Staff here are memorable. The rooms are a given. (clean and comfortable.) Little things like coffee and cookies when I have a late checkin. Sometimes when I arrive earlier they have the soup on for their guests. Of course breakfast is always complimentary. Highly recommend this location for a worry free night.

My mother and I stayed at the Comfort Inn from July 16 to 18 in rm #107. My mom always stays at this hotel when coming to Windsor to visit a sick family member at the Hotel Dieu. The staff are courteous and the rooms are relatively clean. The breakfast is very nice with many healthy choices offered.

I was quite disappointed with the disrepair of our room. The bed skirt on my mother's bed was stained and ripped on the left side. The ceiling paint in the bathroom was peeling off and hanging down in some spots. The soap holder in the tub was so high up that when I showered, it was forever jabbing me in the shoulder. The tub seemed very old with caulking running around its perimeter.

My other concern is the sidewalk at the side of the building where our closest entrance was located. The sidewalk has holes in it that go all the way to the parking lot. Unfortunately, these holes are just large enough to fit my mother's cane. My mother has a disability and if her cane were to become stuck in one of these holes, she could easily have a fall.
