“not impressed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

I read the restaurant review on the Huffington Post so decided to try this restaurant myself. It indeed was cheap but couldn't eat most of it. I ordered lobster dumpling soup but I couldn't identify what fish product it was but it wasn't appetizing. My husband ordered duck but it was mostly fat. For really good Chinese soup try Won Ton Chi Noodle in Markham. It's cheap and really good.

“Best duck anywhere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

Really cheap, really crowded, poor service. But the food is really good. Try BBQ duck in soup, with egg noodles. Or any other duck dish. You won't be sorry.

“Good place in Toronto Chinatown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Chose this restaurant because of its location in the heart of Toronto's Chinatown, the positive reviews in Yelp, and the good number of customers inside, when we arrived late afternoon on a weekday. The food came out quickly, as expected, and tasted really good. Our choices: Roast Duck, Clams in Black Bean Sauce and Chinese Broccoli in Hoisin Sauce. But the Flat Noodles in Wonton Soup was not as good -- the Wonton was too chewy. Value was OK even though we were charged for Chinese Tea. We found the Service reasonably good, compared with the waitstaff at similar Chinatown eateries. Restaurant accepts US Dollars in place of C$, but at a rather poor exchange rate.

“Your average chinese restaurant in Chinatown”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

I went with my husband here for a quick eat. We were quickly seated which was good. The temperatures were sweltering outside and as such I think they should offer water which they did not. We ordered the small wanton soup which was a decent size. It tasted good but had way too many noodles and not enough dumplings. We also order the general tao chicken which was very good. It wasn't crispy, more of a sweeter, moist chicken but we enjoyed that. We also order the beef and rice noodles with black bean sauce. This dish was also fairly good although the meat was a bit tough. Overall, it wasn't bad but it doesn't have us wanting to go back for another go.

“Clean and tasty!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

I had to have something good after a terrible experience at another restaurant in Chinatown last night. The food was really tasty and the place very clean too. Definitely good if you're going solo or on a date. Prices are good value for money too. Ande for me personally, it`s always a great sign when you actually see Oriental people eating at a Chinese restaurant. My only thing was that they don't take debit.
