“Only O.K. Food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2012

This was our first visit here. Fairly busy Afghani Kebob House. You order your dish and then wait for it to be grilled. There are quite few tables available for sitting and eating your meal once it is ready. The meat (Chicken Tandoori and beef Tikka) were only fair. They certainly did not stand out. The beef was a bit tough. Also, the meet skewers were rather small. The basmati rice was not as good as the rice served in many Persian restaurants serving similar Kebob dishes. The bread is too thick to qualify as Nan but it was fresh and warm. The salad was mostly stale lettuce. Much better fare is available at many other Middle Eastern and Persian Restaurants. Also be aware that they do not accept credit cards. I am quite surprised it is the number #1 rated restaurant in North York.

“If you love eastern/middleester food with good tast of kabobs..........”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2011

I love to go Bamiyan Kabob. It is very famous place for it dishes and people love it. You have to wait at least 15 min in the line and on weekend it is better to anticipate good 30 min. Food is great all fresh, and light. Afghani dishes are mostly meet based and cooked mostly on grill with salt and pepper and very mild spices even you cannot feel it. Therefore, this place is famous no only within Asian community but also becoming preferred place for white population who knows the place.
You must love meat and kabobs you enjoy that. When you are there order Chappli Kabob dinner and you will really enjoy it. Portion of food is enough for person and after completing meal you will discover that it is worth of my money. Some time we order two different dishes and can eat 3 people easily. Don’t expect full service dining. It is self service place. You order your food and pick at the counter and reasonable sitting place to enjoy you meal. Lot of dishes, beef, mutton and chicken based. They server Naan (an stoned cooked bread) I love it.
Enjoy the food and have good nap 

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2011

Visited the one in Mississauga on Dixie Road-very busy during peak hours-dine in or take out-best to it eat freah as it is grilled-finding a table can be a chore because of lack of space-noisy-service is very fast
