“Bad service, Mediocre food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

Bad service, mediocre food. A totally unpleasant experience.
Wife and I came for fixed prix, with coupon. Waitress ignored us- even after repeated attempts to get her attention for a glass of water. To make matters worst she piled all our used cutlery in the centre of the table leaving it to sort out which each had used. New cutlery was not an option as she spent the next 15 minutes shmoozing with a group who of heavy drinkers (heavy tippers?). Nor would any other waiter approach when we signalled.
The food- We ordered the seared tuna appetizer. It was a bowl of lettuce, with a tiny sliver of tuna underneath. The rest of the meal was not much better.
When the bill came- guess what? A 20% tip had been added! I explained to the waitress that her service was very bad. Answer- that's the way they did things.
Asked for the manager to complain- he was not in.
We left unhappy, poorer, and determined to tell people not to come here.

“Pleasure!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

My boyfriend took me for a birthday dinner here - we got the great table in the corner by the window. Very romantic, with candle lights. Great food and overall very cosy and yet sexy ambiance. Will go there again definitely!!

“Change in ownership ruined this place”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012

I used to eat here every time I was in Toronto and it was great. However there was a change in ownership/chef (as I was told) and it is now not nearly as good as it used to be. Same concept but poor execution by the kitchen, bad seasoning, etc. etc. I'm really disappointed because I used to love this place.

“Good food and good service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

I went to Kultura and had a great experience. My server was Emily who was not only beautiful and friendly, but also very knowledgable about the menu. I ate the sushi appetizer and had some drinks. The food was DELICIOUS! Thanks Emily and Kultura for a great experience :)
