In June, I was in Toronto, staying at the Sutton Place Hotel, Bay & Wellesley. The Tokyo Grill is on Yonge, just a few doors north of Wellesley, and thus, about 3 minutes walk away.
A relative who works around the corner first introduced me to the place, or I'd never have entered. That would have been a mistake. They do wonderful Japanese 'plate lunches' all day long. I mean something like Chicken Katsu with rice, salad and teriyaki sauce; or udon noodles with chicken in soup. Reasons I go to Tokyo Grill:
The place is spotless; many Japanese may be found eating there; the prices are reasonable; the staff are very courteous; I have eaten there many times, and done take away from there as well. I've never had a bad meal, in over 5 years that I've eaten there.
The area, while not dangerous, is not my favourite part of town. But if you happen to be in the area, and feel like Japanese, this is the place.
