“Exotic Ambiance plus...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Location: Downtown a few hundred yards east of Yonge St and the Union Station
Decor: Spectacular stylish Moroccan ambiance in a beautifully maintained century property
Service: Excellent! We were served in Cafe Moroc by a pleasant and efficient waiter
Food & Beverage: Recommend the Apricot Lamb Tagine, a braised lamb stewed with dried apricots, onions, carrots, spices and garlic. Served over a bed of couscous accented with chicken broth and preserved butter for $18 - excellent delicate flavours.
Tip: The exotic Sultan's Tent is only available to guests that want a full four course meal with Belly dancer etc.

“Great for group dinners with entertainment!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

I went here for a nice birthday dinner with friends. It is ideal to go with a bigger group because you get to have your own tent area which changes the atmosphere and gives a more private experience among you and your friends. It was a little pricey considering there were only two belly dancers for a very short period of time. It would have been nice to have them for a longer period of time but it was fun because one of the belly dancers came in to my booth and pulled me up to try the dance with her! She even had an extra dancing belt to lend me.

Food was okay, nothing special, the atmosphere was different, interesting, the belly dancers were inexperienced. I've seen better, way better!!!

“Nice night out”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

I can't complain about The Sultans Tent, the restaurant itself was very nice, entertainment was good, but the food I would say is to please the masses.
I wouldn't say its authentic moroccan food, but it was still good and service was very good.

It was a fun night out for my husband and I.

“Bar food is worth it”

The menu is interesting and tasty, served in a comfortable casual setting at the front, and at a reasonable cost.
