“Very good tapas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

Toronto has very few Spanish restaurants and Casa Barcelona is one that stands out. The staff are friendly and the service is very quick. The menu has been pared down a little , which is good because there were so many choices. Great dishes include garlic shrimp, chorizo with onions, eggplant with feta and honey and dates stuffed with chorizo and bacon. The churros with dolce la leche is also really good. Enjoy the sangria.

On Friday and Saturday they have flamenco and belly dancing and it is fun. The space is tight and the decor is dated but the food is well worth it.

“Bait and switch”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2013

My friend and I wanted to take some business associates here for dinner. We stopped by earlier to make a reservation and look at the menu. When we arrived at the restaurant for our meal the prices were three times higher than on the menu we had been shown earlier that day. The portions were very small for what you got in the way of food.

“Fun place...good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

We had a pre-wedding dinner at Casa Barcelona. What a fun surprise! The Flamenco and Belly dancers were great, and added to the festive atmosphere. The food was delicious, and wine was very good. Service was quick and friendly.

We had a lovely time ! Look forward to coming back soon. We let the chef choose the courses for us and we're pleasantly surprised.

“We laugh every time we see it busy!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Honestly, wish I could say something nice. Ok, had a relaxed atmosphere, friendly server's, but that's it!!!! They put the SAME white-yellow "sauce" on ALMOST every plate we tried!!! I've been to Barcelona, and I have never seen that stuff before!! Felt bloated and greasy after eating. They had 'belly-dancers" that were fun, but my wife was getting uncomfortable as they dance right in front of you while you try to eat!! maybe they are trying to distract you from your food??? NEVER AGAIN!!!!
