My wife and I stayed at Suite Dreams for an anniversary weekend, and I can't praise it, or Jean the owner, highly enough. Jean really is a fabulous host and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was far better than any hotel could provide and the house itself was lovely. We will certainly stay there again and also recommend it to anyone going to Toronto.

Well, what can I say about this amazing place and the wondeful lady who runs it that hasn't been said already?!

My cousin and I booked at Suite Dreams purely on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. As two girls staying alone in Toronto we were looking for a quiet, personal place to stay where we could get to know our host and feel safe and looked after, rather than the impersonality of a larger hotel. Jean's place was perfect for that.

From the moment we arrived we felt part of the family! I arrived first, fairly late on in the evening, having just had a long journey from the UK and feeling quite nervous about being alone in a big city. Jean and her family and friends were having a barbeque in the back garden and they invited me to join them. Everyone made me feel so welcome and at home straight away (thankyou to Ruth, Tim and everyone else!) and I had some of the most amazing food that Jean and her family had cooked.

When my cousin arrived we went to bed in our gorgeous room, the Sunrise suite. It had every convenience you could wish for, and Jean checked that the air conditioning was the correct temperature for us, as well as giving us extra towels (for beach etc.) upon request.

The following morning Jean was bright and friendly and she whipped up the meanest breakfast ever! She answered all our questions, gave us recommendations and also maps and other city information. We were also able to arrange taxis through her and use the house phone to book for the baseball and the theatre. We were given our own front door key so we could come and go as we pleased. Everything is accessible, either on foot, or on the nearby Subway, and there are lots of interesting restaurants and cafes nearby, including a Baskin and Robbins opposite the park!

The week passed in a whirl and we had a fantastic time, in no small part due to being entirely comfortable and happy at Jean's. She kept the house and our room immaculate, and looked after our every need, striking just the right balance of being attentive and caring, whilst being discreet and maintaining her guests' privacy. To us it was like having a surrogate mum on hand, exactly what we had wanted to make us feel secure and relaxed. We will really miss Jean but hope to return to Suite Dreams one day.

I've stayed at the Suite Dreams B&B with my mom for 10 days. The second we got to the place we knew we made a great deal. The room was beautiful and the whole house was clean and warm and inviting.
We got breakfast AND a small fridge, which was very convinient. The location is superb (subway station a minute away and a 2 minute walk to Bloor St.), the landlady made us feel right at home from day one, every breakfast was delicious and nutritious and just when we got used to the pampering - we had to leave.....
Seriously, if you're going to Toronto - go to Suite Dreams. You will not regret it!!!

On a recent visit from Ireland to Toronto we had the good fortune to stay at the absolutely excellent Suite Dreams accommodation. This is in a family home located on a quiet road just off Bloor St. , and adjacent to Christie subway station and Christie Pits Park. The house is new, elegantly decorated; spotlessly clean with beautifully wooden floors. The en-suite rooms are spacious with plenty of storage. Downstairs has a quiet area for relaxing.

Jean our hostess was warm, generous with a wonderful sense of caring and sharing; and nothing was too much trouble.

Even after 16 days breakfast continued to be an event to look forward – fresh fruit and yogurt, Jean's own homemade granola, followed by a hot course of either pancakes or waffles with maple syrup, ham and cheese omelet and other varieties.

We can guarantee that if you decide to choose this accommodation you will find it a 'Sweet Dream'……….marks out of ten 10. Thanks a million!!!!
