If you are living in Toronto and surrounding, this is a perfect place to spend the day. It's a park and at the end of the road a beach. There is a changing room and shower but water is cold even during hot weather.
Bring everything with you, there is nothing there but beach and sand.
Not coffee no water no drinks, no foods, unless you drive to the marina and buy quick items from a kiosk there, bring coins and cash, credit cards not accepted.
You must arrive early during weekends to find parking, before 10:00 am, pay parking per day 7 dollars, or by half hour, limited spaces for this pay parking.
There is a lifeguard on the beach, who comes at 10:30 am on weekends.
You and your kids will enjoy the place and you can have a barbecue in the shadow next to beach from the park. Just bring everything with you.
