We stayed here for our honeymoon for a nine night stay after reading reviews online about the hotel. All we can say is that we were not disappointed,check-in was fast and efficient,We got an upgrade to a deluxe room with super king-size bed,a beautiful marble bathroom with Molton Brown toiletries and a heated floor. The hotel is close to bars, restaurants and has a local food store opposite for your needs. The staff could not be more helpful, concierge organised our day trip to Niagra Falls with ease and answered all our questions even the trivial ones!! We would not hesitate returning here and if your thinking about booking a stay you should. Mr & mrs Cooper :-)

We stayed at the SoHo for 2 nights early May. We were only visiting to go and see Niagara Falls. This hotel was perfect for the purpose of our stay. A good location with many restaurants only a block away. The room and amenities were excellent value for the the price we paid. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I must mention housekeeping....after leaving in a hurry and leaving my cosmetics strewn around the bathroom, we returned to find everything organised and set up for future use. Excellent finer details. Great hotel, excellent value!

This hotel is in a kind of nowheresville near the BlueJays stadium, the thing that looks like a boil next to the CNN lance. A grey concrete needle is Toronto's most famous offering. The hotel looks out on a dirt carpark and at the back is a major construction site that begins 7am. I changed room 3 times in hope of some peace. The front of house staff were dopey and didn't seem interested in helping. There weren't many guests. Breakfast was pretty good, if pricey for Toronto but 'Senses' restaurant food dry and underseasoned, so more senseless. Again prices were for serious dining while food was a bit laughable. Service was slow. The rooms are nice, spacious and with Molton Brown cosmetics and there is a decent gym.

Room Tip: Front better than back at present, well down the corridor.

Good sized rooms in their suites and great bathrooms make this modern, downtown hotel worth staying at. It's not a great location, but not the worst either. The in-hotel restaurant Sen5es is OK - nothing special but not overly costly.

Room Tip: We were in 206 - it's close to the gym if you are into fitness

Stayed at this hotel for a little over a week in July 2012 and really liked it. The location can be a little bit out of the way, depending on what you are looking for. It's only a 5 minute walk to the Rogers Centre (Skydome) and CN Tower, so if you're looking for a hotel close to these attractions without getting gouged I would recommend staying at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight of the room was definitely the bathroom; large glass enclosed walk in shower all marble tile and a heated floor. The rest of the room could have used a bit of TLC. Some of the furnishings had signs of wear, there were a few small stains on the carpet, the DVD player didn't work and the HDTV didn't have HDMI inputs or a sleep timer (probably not a big deal for most people, but I'm used to falling asleep to the TV and being able to connect my laptop to the TV is a plus). The bed was super comfy and the soundproofing was very good as well (almost impossible to hear any noise from the street or other rooms). If you can get this hotel for a good price ($180 - $190/night), jump on it; otherwise, see what some of the other luxury hotels in the area are charging and go from there.

Had a fantastic time! Housekeeping, front-desk, concierge, everyone made us feel so welcomed and went above and BEYOND the call of duty. Unpretentious, friendly and treated us average girls like royalty. Such a pleasure. Good job all around!

We had a nice stay at the Soho metropolitan. The room was very nice. The highlight was definitely the bathroom quite a luxury. But the supposed to be heathen bathroom floor did not work. We ordered room service. We had the cheese platter, which was very delicious. Breakfast was not included and we took it elsewhere. The Check Out process was way too slowly, especially when you have to catch a flight. The final invoice is very confusing and does not make sense at all. Better check it as they wanted to charge as valet parking although we were not travelling by car. However I think the room rate could be better as there is no breakfast included. But as I already mentioned the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable.
