This is a really great place for a casual burger dinner - great atmosphere, excellent food, good service (although our waitress could have used a little more training). The burgers are all offered in three versions ranging in price with the top of the line being Kobe. Since we were there for a great burger experience, we all thought Kobe it is! We then proceeded to load up our burgers with so many delicious toppings that we really couldn't taste the quality difference in the beef. Yes, it was a delicious burger but the main flavour profile came from the toppings, not the beef. Next time, I won't bother splurging on Kobe unless I'm going fairly light on the extras - then it might be worth it.
Our waitress seemed to have the exact same reaction to every question about the burgers - "Ohhhh, that one is sooo good!" And then, after several questions about the ingredients in the Asian slaw burger topping (allergies, etc), she brought out a side bowl of regular coleslaw. She assured us that was the Asian slaw. Then another waiter came buy to see if everything was OK so I asked again about the slaw and, no, that was just their regular slaw...a side dish, not a burger topping like the Asian one. He immediately brought out the Asian slaw. At the same time, our waitress happened by and loudly announced that she had never before seen that slaw. She looked at it like it was from another planet. It looked different than regular coleslaw - with sesame seeds, etc, so I can't see how she could have missed it in the kitchen or why she wasn't aware of its existance when it's offered as a burger topping.
On the side, we also had onion rings (excellent), sweet potato fries (same as you'd get anywhere) and fried pickles (very hard dill quarters, covered in batter - not worth it).
All in all, it was a nice dinner and we will be back.
