I loved the Old Mill. It was like being in the country, but having the convenience of the downtown being right there. The room was larged with king bed and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The service was wonderful. The best part was the spa. The warm stone massage was the best and the atmosphere there was really relaxing. I'd say you're wasting a trip if you miss out on the spa

I have to rave about this hotel! We had recently stayed at the Park Hyatt and it didn't hold a candle to the Old Mill. Our children booked us a room at the Old Mill for our 25th Anniversary. What a stunning place! The room was gorgeous with a two person jacuzzi tub, great stereo system ad an ultra comfortable bed. The neighbourhood is lovely, we took a pleasant walk along the Humber River. The next morning we had brunch in the dining room, it featured lobster, shrimp and lots of delicious goodies. All and all it is a very luxurious place.

It is unfortunate that such a wonderful hotel would receive such a bad review from the previous writer. Maybe he is a disgruntled past employee. I would not have discredited his story if it had not been for the flat out lie about the neighborhood. I can tell you from experience that the part about the neighborhood is totally false. The neighborhood is beautiful, upscale and pleasant. I fell in love with the surrounding architecture and I saw many women walking their dogs alone with joyous personas. The Hotel seems to be for couples (there were so many weddings there during our stay), but we went with our two children and we all loved it.

The hotel room was simply the best that we had ever experience. The only hotel room that comes close is the Jacuzzi suite at the Luxor in Las Vegas. We only book top-notch hotels everywhere we go and we are avid travelers, but I am usually able to find a good deal on an upsale Hotel. My only issue with the hotel is that it was expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for and they spared no expense with the décor of the place. I thought to myself that it had to cost a lot of money to build such a spectacular place. Although I had the experienced of being upgraded to a $1,000 room in South Beach Florida, because of a reservation mishap, I had never spent $400 for a room before. Nevertheless, all things are equal, because it was the best and biggest hotel room we had ever experienced by far.

Only had the pleasure of staying here for 1 night in January 2004 for a work function. Would return in a second. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom (very large) is wonderful with a 2 person jacuzzi tub. The complimentary products (shampoo, lotion, etc) are amazing. The meals were great. The bar is very classy. Loved the fact that the bar has a separate enclosed cigar lounge. Only thing that could be improved upon was the temperature of the boardrooms... it was either far too warm or too chilly. Can't wait to treat myself to a room at the Old Mill once again!
