This hotel was booked by a friend in Toronto for us. First impression was grim. Receptionist tired and bored but was helpful. Yes the elevator stank of cigarettes and there was dirt in all the corners. Corridors had a strange mix of unpleasant unclean smells including the all pervading tobacco stink. The carpets are filthy and probably where the smell is coming from.
Room is ok and big with two double beds (and I agree with last reviewer badly made). Sheets are tired and threadbare - pillows a weird mixture. Bed is actually comfortable though.
Fridge missing, no remote for tv. Given first impression you then start looking and discover fluff on skirtings, dust in drawers, etc. All furniture and shelves are tired/damaged.
Decided ''it will do'' as don't want to offend friends and knackered after long flight. Anyway could it get worse? YES. My co-worker has room across corridor and found that the last guest had left half eaten kebab, drinks, etc in the fridge. Who knows how long it has been there? Fridge obviously not cleaned.
Will go out for breakfast because who knows how bad the kitchen is here?

We booked this motel unsure of what we'd find, having read the previous reviews. It turned out to be pretty good, given the cost. The room was fine, although the window couldn't be opened and we would have liked fresh air from time to time. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. The breakfast was pretty good by motel standards. The elevator often smelled like cigarettes (why do people smoke in elevators?) -- perhaps the management could warn of and impose a fine.

Where do I start. Phone line to room that is out-of-order. Hallway carpeting that is worn and stained. Non-smoking rooms that have a lingering smoke smell. Toilet that moves off the base when you sit on it. Continental breakfast that might have come from last week's stock. Exterior landscaping that was last attended to during the ice age. All this for a crisp $100 per nite. What else do you want?

We just recently booked this hotel online and should have listened to the bad reviews. On entering the hotel the clerk seemed very bored with her job and uninterested. We got onto the elevator got off our floor and it smelled like smoke. The beds were poorly made. The worse was the bathroom. The light flicked, there was a hole in the wall where the hairdryer station used to be, the sink counter was sticky. I pulled back in horror to see the bottom of the tub black with dirt and brown all over the tub. Looked like it hadnt been scrubed in years, there was also mold on the shower curtain. when we got back from our event in the evening all we could smell as we got off the elevator was either pot or some other drug. In the morning we were going to make coffee in the little machine in the room and it hadnt been washed either, stained and dry old coffe in pot and the lid on both sides were stained. My husband then went downstairs for the so called free breakfast, brought back two muffins and coffee. The muffin completely fell apart like sand when I tried to take the paper off. I have never stayed in such a dump before and never will stay there again.

DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though this hotel was rated as a 2 star and the price was right, I feel it should have still been clean. The bathroom was especially discusting and I felt like my bed was crawling (although I didn't see any bed bugs). The service wasn't overly great. I did enjoy a warm waffle for breakfast, but the cream for my coffee had gone sour. I would not stay at this hotel again...I have seen 2 star Caribbean hotels which are nicer and cleaner than this one and also have better service.
