Booked this restaurant based on the reviews for my Birthday for a party of six. I was delighted to find a G-F restaurant in Toronto.
On arrival, the sole waiter seemed unaware of our pre booking.
The tables are worn and bare - not even a placemat in sight.
Most item ordered were no longer available - at 7pm on a Saturday night? No fish and fish and chips and only two orders of steak left. Ended up having the chicken, which is not what I wanted.
Starters were fine and chicken tenders quite tasty.
Main course chicken with Italian sausage, would have been OK, but you had to have the lamb sausage in it, and that was very spicy. Veges not warm and very basic. Nothing memorable except heartburn. Again, some shortages on the dessert menu, so settled for apple- pie, which was warm on the outside and cold inside.
All in all, most unimpressive. I could have done better at any other restaurant offering to do G-F meals. We won't be returning.
