We found that this restaurant was is a great location with an interesting out door bar and good food. But that's as far as this pretentious place goes. We stopped in for brunch this morning and we were met with some confusion as to when they actually were open. On the board it said that bunch started at 11:30am. We were met with "we aren't open until 11:45am". When we pointed to the time on the board, there was a perplexing look in return. Once we were finally able to enter we were promptly sat at a table for 2. When we enquired about the booths we were told that they were all reserved. Oh well... Or so we thought... Another couple came in and they went through the same script. When they asked about the booths, the server said "sure!". Whaaatt? we thought. When we asked again, the server looked perplexed and then went to ask. We were then reseated in a booth. It was obvious that either there was some confusion or we didn't fit the "profile" for the "reserved" booths. When we finally ordered our food, we were met with "have you decided?". We ordered and received a good meal. Part way through our meal we overheard another table being server. She said "the chef's special today...". Huh? There's a chef's special? Oh man. So, that kind of sealed it for us. We mentioned our experience to the manager but he seemed uninterested.
We thought that It was a fluke getting 2 dirty glasses and a wine with "stuff" in it the night before but I guess not.
Won't be back...
