This is a follow up to my review "Very Funny".

When we got home we talked to the manager. He said that if we come back, he will make it up to us. They did. The room was the BEST room I have ever stayed in at any hotel in Toronto. The service was excellent and we were greeted every time we enter the hotel. The service was better here than all 4 star, big chain hotels. The hotel being a block away from the subway is a big bonus. Everything you need is all within a couple of blocks. (24 hour Dominon, Restaurants, Movie Theatre, Winners, etc.) This is my favorite place to stay in Toronto. Please don't read my review on Very Funny. I'm postive that was an isolated incident. Want great service, and a excellent rate stay here.

Earlier this month I stayed at the Days Hotel & Conference Centre in downtown Toronto and delivered a two-day workshop in the Rosedale Room. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and once again I am delighted with everything and everyone.

The Catering Manager, Anne-Marie Macpherson booked my rooms, made sure all the materials I had sent to the hotel were waiting for me when I checked in, and took care of all the incidentals, so I could focus on my workshop. What a pleasure it is to work with someone who truly understands the needs of the business traveller.

When I was checking out I asked the bellman, Alden, about transportation to the airport. He arranged for a cab and actually helped me take my luggage to the car. I've stayed in many hotels in many North American cities and this is the first hotel that continued to provide excellent service even after I paid the bill.

I enjoy staying at this hotel because not only are the rooms clean, the restaurants affordable and the staff pleasant (they actually make eye contact, smile and are friendly) but everyone is genuinely interested in the care and comfort of their guests.

I highly recommend Days Hotel & Conference centre in downtown Toronto to everyone.

I recently stayed in this hotel and found it perfect for what I needed. The room was clean and quite spacious, the bathroom was clean, the stafff were polite and helpful and the bed was comfortable. It is right next to a subway station, and is within walking distance of many the main shopping/site seeing areas, so was in a great location. The swimming pool was a bonus for me as it was nice to be able to go back and relax in the water after a busy day site seeing! (After we had mastered the way to get in to the pool!)

All in all a good stay at this hotel, made use of the breakfast one day which a an all you can eat buffet for $11.95, and frequented the bar a couple of nights! For the price we paid to stay here I don't think I could ask for much more!

Stayed here in May 2005, found the hotel to be very well located and clean. It's not a luxury affair, but was good value for the money and right next to a subway station.
The only (minor) problem we found was that there are only 4 lifts serving 23 floors, and at peak times this could cause a few jams.
The pool was very underused, so i'd reccommend packing your swimming kit because it's a perfect way to relax after tramping around Toronto.

I've stayed in a few Days Inn hotels and this one is pretty good. Rooms are a decent size and are always well cleaned. Its a very big hotel and I would say that there are too few lifts (4) for so many floors (20+) so you have to wait a bit occasionally. There is a pool etc in the hotel but I didn't use it so I couldn't comment.

As well as the hotels own restaurant there is a bar/grill and a coffee shop with Internet access on site. There are plenty of alternative eating options in the nearby malls and local streets.

The location is pretty good, right on Yonge Street in central Totonto. Its about a 20/30 minute walk to the harbour front, CN Tower, Skydome etc but its only a couple of hundred yards to the Subway if you don't like walking.

In terms of value for money its right up there.
