“Clean and tidy, but starting to show signs of aging”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

I stayed for one night midweek on business. The room was okay, I can't point to anything wrong with it in particular but it was pretty typical two queen beds and a TV. It was clean and tidy, and the staff were good. A colleague of mine always stays there when he goes to Toronto, which implies to me that the other choices are more expensive and not worth the upgrade.

We arrived very late due to a flight delay with West Jet November 8th so we didn't check in until 4am of the 9th....the hotel was fully booked and they gave us Room 444 which is the wheelchair accessible room ~ we phoned right away to front desk and said this wasn't going to be an option due to how the shower and toilet was all open. They told us to ring first thing in the morning as few people checking out and would upgrade us. After taking a shower (I thought for sure the room was going to flood as the flow of the water was not going through as easily)! I asked the front desk to move us and within 40 minutes we were up on the next level. They were very understanding and had no problem doing this for us.

The new room itself standard clean room; the bathroom floor tiles were needing some upgrades and the sink could have used a bit more room to put toiletries and such. The flow of the shower however and the comfort of the beds were great! Nice king size bed with lots of pillows so that was all good.

The lobby and staff are all very friendly, overall would stay here again as the location was perfect! Coffee shops, subway, free wi-fi (big bonus) were all part of this hotel.

Stayed here for a weekend in October. The staff was very nice, and the location was perfect. The hotel had valet parking which was very convenient. However, when we got to the room it was a little dated. The furniture and fixtures looked like they were from fifteen years ago. It was clean, the room was huge, but for the price paid it should've been more modern.

This was a great hotel in a great location. Our room was nice, clean, and so quiet we never heard a sound and slept like logs. If I returned to Toronto, I'd definitely stay there again. We stayed later at a Best Western in another city for the same price and the Marriott was superior to it in every way. Good value!

Room Tip: Ask for a free fridge, pick up breakfast pastries at Tim Horton's, and enjoy breakfast in your r...

Nice, clean hotel in a great location near a subway station (College). There is a Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Shoppers Drug Mart, McDonalds, and a Metro supermarket very close by.

Rooms are clean and of a good size. Free wifi with a good signal throughout the hotel. I ate three times in the hotel: twice in the evening in the lounge, which has good food and decent prices; and once in the dining room for the buffet breakfast, which was also good.

Room Tip: They say the North tower's rooms are better.

We spent three nights at courtyard last week, the location is great, walking distance to supermarket, subway and other things. feel very safe walking at surround areas during the night. A few public parking is available around as well. The building is not new or fancy, but room is clean and comfort. The clean is up to the standard, but not spotless ( Im very picky). However its definitely worth the money. And the staffs were nice. The only thing missing is car rental. But we took subway to another Marriott hotel and pick up the car.
And room wifi is good and speedy.

You can always count on the Marriott to be clean, have excellent beds, pillows and linens. This Marriott has redone their lobby and perhaps some of the rooms, I can only speak for the one I stayed in. The room was tired and in need of updating. Big chip in the bathtub, peeling wall paper, tired tile in the bathroom. The windows open a little, big bonus, they moved us away from the elevator without question upon request, so service is still excellent but the decorating...please. I booked on Expedia so I paid $152 + taxes but I expect to get a little more for my money. I did sleep so that was a bonus. I cannot speak to the spa services or the children's activities.

Room Tip: The north tower was quiet.
