“Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I spent my last day in Toronto relaxing at Toronto Island Park, i took the ferry across and was totally amazed by this place, what a great place to visit. You had the best of everything here, the large grounds have lots of space for families to have a picnic, there is a childrens amusement area, a beach to relax on......i really enjoyed getting away from it all here.

“Lovely setting so close to Toronto”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

Wow what a place, we went there during the week and the place was empty! We had the beach to ourselves, was amazing the only negative was seemed to be a lot of flies around which got a bit annoying. Whilst on the islands, we also hired some bikes and went from one end to the other and was very nice and really lovely place to spend time and so close to Toronto. Highly recommended!

“Cheap attactrion and Fantastic Park on Lake Ontario”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

This is a $5 (Canadian) Ferry Ride to a wonderful island in the middle of Lake Ontario. I consider it my Top Attraction for Toronto for value! You can go to the beach, there's a kids petting zoo, there's a small theme park with rides for the kids for a fee. All we did was to walk around and enjoy the weather which was spectacular in August - 72 degrees F and dry. The Candadians have made the whole island beautiful with lots of fountains, small pedestrian bridges, and beautiful landscaping. You can't beat the price for the ferry ride. Also, great photos on the Toronto Skyline on the return ferry trip to the city which is about 15 minutes.

“Pretty setting, great views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

The Island is wonderful - lots to see and do, with beautiful walking trails and views of the city skyline. But NEVER go there for a festival or concert! Since you have to wait for the ferry, you'll be stuck there for hours,,,
