“Streetcar track work on the way to The Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2014

The Beach, still a great place to visit in Toronto, but getting there this summer (2014) may prove time consuming. A combination of subway (Bloor) and Bus (Woodbine) may just work and could prove an adventure on its own. So, again, TTC Streetcar service on Queen St. East to the Beach could be problematic I'm afraid.

“amazing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

A great area to getaway from the busy city life and enjoy the peaceful neighbourhood. Great location for summer chill. I would love to spend more time here , great to take a walk with your dog or with some friend.

“It's like going to the seaside. But without waves.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2014

Great vibe. Very bohemian. Loads of places to eat on Queen Street. The beaches never get too crowded except around the volley ball nets. Great for kids too. It's a shame that you can't always go in the water because of pollution though.

“beach haven”

visit this area for the first time. Beautiful old homes and merchants. Too bad it was raining at the time, we would have loved to enjoy the beach much more. So much to see and explore.

“Great neighbourhood!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

Quaint neighbourhood on the water that is pretty self-contained with pubs, restaurants and cafes, movie theatres, supermarkets and about 100 dog businesses!
