“Great beaches close”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

The beaches were just a ferry away. Just walk down street a couple blocks hop a ferry and you are on your way to the beach.

“Great place to chill in Toronto East”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Enjoyed our stay in Toronto East. Walked on Queen St. East in the Beaches area. Nice shops, restaurants and bistros.
Perfect beach with a boardwalk all in the same area. Would go back again for a longer stay.

“What an ecclectic group of housing and business.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We love walking, biking and driving through the beaches, and upper beaches areas to observe the various styles of housing, and business throughout the area. I love the classic architecture of the older homes, mixed with the newer built homes. The area is a 'salad bowl' of different styles, and cultures.

“Kick back and chill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

This is a great location to relax , meet with the family or raise a sweat

Lovely beach , well maintained facilities and if your brave enough a place for a swim......just warm enough for a paddle

Oh not forgetting free parking at certain times , but beware at weekends the car parks are busy

You may want to check out some of the nice properties down there, see how the other half lives

“Nice, quiet break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

A good outing from the main city - easily reached by tram - for a quiet board walk and paddle. Nice big municipal swimming pool (free!) at one end, and enjoyable walk along the beach. Free from commercialism
