Highly recommend visiting this area of Toronto, pretty pebble beaches, great views of the lake and there are some really lovely bars and restaurants.

“Sandy Surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Friends recently moved to "The Beaches" so we went for dinner and to check out the new location. Was pleasantly surprised at the clean beach, boardwalk, clear water and leash free areas for our dog! They live close to the end of the street only 2 doors away from the beach - did not feel like I was in a big city at all! Definitely going to utilize the area more often!

This is where we go to wander around, check out the eclectic mix of stores and restaurants, enjoy the jazz festival or just grab a coffee and walk the streets or parks.

Funky little neighborhood at the east end of Queen Street. Walk on the beach and people watch. Shops galore, quaint restaurants. Loved it.
