Roy Thompson Hall is not only a Toronto landmark, but an excellent concert venue as well. RHT is the home-base for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) and hosts many other concerts throughout the year. We come here every Christmas to see the TSO's excellent performance of Handel's Messiah. The acoustics are amazing and I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, although I wouldn't recommend sitting in the upper levels if you afraid of heights. The antechambers are completely sound proof. As others have mentioned, parking in and around the area can be difficult - and expensive. It may be easier to use public transportation - the St. Andrew subway station is nearby, and it's a short walk down south to Union Station (Roy Thompson Hall is also connected to the underground PATH system).
