We have so enjoyed our 3 stays at TDB&B that it has become an annual tradition. We were treated like royalty. The food is incredible, and is surpassed only by the wamth, cordiality and thoughtfullness of the hosts. They have literally thought of everything a guest might want or need. Once, my husband started to ask Jim if we could borrow an umberella. Before Terry could ask anything more than "Could we.." Jim said "Yes, I'm not sure what you're going to ask for, but the answer is always yes." It's always that way. I have recomended TDB&B to anyone who mentions a trip to Toronto. It's an incredible treat and retreat. We'll be back this May, and every May after!

The Toronto Downtown Bed & Breakfast is a first class establishment from the minute you make your reservation. I have stayed there about 7 times in the past year for business travel, and even though I am there on business, it feels like a vacation. The hosts always make me feel at home, and they help take care of any need that arises. The beds are like heaven. The culinary experience is divine. Although it is difficult to get out of the comfy bed, a delicious breakfast awaits you and gets you ready for the day. I travel every week with my job, and I stay in bed and breakfasts across the US and Canada. Toronto Downtown Bed & Breakfast still has my vote as #1! I highly recommend TDBAB to anyone going to Toronto!

I travel frequently for both pleasure and business and TDBB is the best B& B I have ever experienced. The only hotel I stay in is the Ritz and TDBB is better! The service is without compare. The facility is beautiful, clean, attractive and in a wonderful location. The breakfast are gourmet quality and the absolute best part of the experience are Jim and Rodger. The host are attentive, bright, accomodating and go out of the way for their guest. I was shocked at the negative review posted. The only explanation is that it was written by the competition (of which there is none!!!!!) I am a repeat guest and have brought my family and extended family to TDBB. We are always treated like royalty and I cannot wait to go back.

From the moment of our arrival to the delectable aroma of fresh-baked cookies, Jim & Roger were gracious and cordial hosts, greeting us with an hour of get-acquainted conversation over a goblet of red. Our suite was spacious, sophisticated, and comfortable, and offered desirable amenities. Each morning, Chef Jim's gourmet breakfasts were served on a different set of collectible fine china. We couldn't have asked for a better location in Toronto, away from the hustle-bustle, yet convenient for touring by auto, public transit, or on foot, and--plus de resistance!--excellent dining was just across the street. Well worth the price. We'd return in a heartbeat!
