Great hotel, excellent relation price/quality/location. There is a public parking lot in front (7$) to park your car. I would definitively come again. There is a Tim Horton's just next to the hotel, some minutes walking to Eaton Center. Is on downtown's heart. Great surprise!

Spend one night here with friends while attending a concert at the Air Canada Center. The hotel itself is nice; nice lobby, very friendly staff all around. The rooms are clean; bedding is very comfortable and bathroom are nice. Only downside is that the neighborhood really isn't that great. There were folks panhandling morning and night right in front of hotel. It was a 25 min walk to the Center. We walked both ways and I never felt unsafe; but it wasn't pleasant. This probably explains why the rates were lower than other hotels in town. But I would stay here again because this does not bother me; however the friends I was with were quite uncomfortable with the neighborhood.

Reserved wrong hotel for business trip to Toronto....due to flooding arrival delayed. Upon check in to correct property ... tried to cancel reservation ...people beyond rude to their own colleagues at another Hilton. Today..discovered $1000+ hold on my card from cancelled reservation. Called..manger Jackie was probably most rude person ever encountered in all my travels. No help at all and when I told her I was going to post review on TA..raised her voice and stated "you're threatening me"! Really??!! Avoid at all cost due to the unprofessional management. You are much better off at Peter Street location.

This hotel is next to Ryerson, on the street car line, walking distance to Eaton Center and many neighborhoods. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the room very clean and spacious and bed extremely comfortable. Excellent value and comfort - recommend to anyone visiting Toronto and wanting to be close to everything without being in a noisy area. The neighborhood is a bit transitional, but well lit.

The desk staff was friendly and helpful. We'd been given a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which included a separate sitting room with a refrigerator, microwave, and pull-out sofa. The bedroom itself had an inviting corner jacuzzi which we did not use. The room was clean and tastefully appointed with modern furnishings. The linens were clean and crisp white and inviting. The closet contained an electronic safe with plenty of room for a laptop computer. Hotel valet parking is advertised at $35/night, but directly across the street, surface parking is available in a staffed/fenced lot for $8/day. Toronto has excellent public transportation, and the hotel is right on the Dundas East-West 505 streetcar line; it runs very frequently. The area is very walkable, but some streets (seemingly moreso to the East) feel less "inviting". Found some nice places to eat within walking distance. The Senator, within a block or two, is a great little diner with friendly staff and great food. For those who are looking for the same old, same old, Tim Horton's is right across the street. Next time I'm in Toronto, I would gladly stay at this property again. The facilities, staff, neighborhood, and amenities were all great.

Room Tip: Convenient, inexpensive, and safe parking directly across the street for $8/day. Much better than t...

My family and I recently ventured to Toronto to bring the kids to the Zoo and CN Tower.
Upon arrival (Monday), it was outstanding the service we received. Valet greeted us, brought us a buggy for our luggage etc. Tuesday morning I went to the front desk to ask for milk for my Tea as i don't use creamers. The service given left my jaw dropped, he was amazing in accommodating me( I believe John was his name)Wednesday morning i went to the front desk to ask for coffee for my husband as he does not like decaff, and again, the service given by Corey was outstanding. However, Wednesday evening when i went back down to ask for milk for my tea i was brushed off and told they had none(by Kris). After explaining to him how accommodating John was with me, he again brushed me off and could care less and told me he would try to send it up to me. An hour passed and at around 11pm i get a call to the room telling me there was no milk.
In my opinion, Kris was horrible with customer service, perhaps have him clean outside where there is no interaction as he obviously does not like the public. It is because of John,Corey, Johanne & Japan from the restaurant that i would ABSOLUTELY return to this Hotel.
