The neighborhood isn't the greatest looking, and the rooms were quite dated, but for what we wanted (central location, cheap) we got more than we deserved!
Nice and clean, very comfortable. Air Conditionning was essential since it was SCORCHING hot while we were there. (The smog in Toronto was unbelieveable)
We didn't get to make use of the kitchenette since we were barely in the place, but it sure would have come in handy, especially if we'd stayed longer than two nights. You are right next to Chinatown though, so who feels like cooking with dim sum next door?
