I've stayed in many hotels in downtown Toronto, and the Marriott Eaton Centre is now my favourite.

Beautiful, spacious lobby. Efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous check-in. Large, spotless and comfortable room. Request a corner room in a higher floor (ending in 02)!

Fantastic location adjacent to the Eaton Centre, Yonge Dundas Square, City Hall, and Chinatown. Walking distance to most everything else in downtown Toronto, and only steps to the subway.

Stay here when we are downtown TO for business. Note to people in Scooters and wheelchairs the Marriott is connected to the Eaton Centre, however it is not accessible (there is about 10 steps that stop you. It is a pity, We were there on Thursday & Friday Feb 7 & 8 ( @TOsnow) The Marriott have an accessible door which is on the south side which is maybe a 100 yards to the Eaton Centre . The problem for all of Friday was that this walkway was not plowed and we had to take the long route to get to eat at Mr GreenJeans. Almost 25 minutes to figure it all out coming and going.

I stayed one night 26th JAN 13. Service was good (specially Austin from Concierge who helped on several occasions on suggestions on car rental). Bar was average and needed a bit more animation but drinks were good and cozy ambiance with the chimney.

Room size is good, comfortable bed and clean throughout. Equipped with all amenities you may need.

Breakfast was good. Buffet style with a correct variety.

With -18C temperatures, the best thing about this hotel was the ability to get to the shopping centre and the underground walkways without having to wear a coat.

Rooms were bright and spacious. Service at front desk and concierge were very friendly and efficient with concierge providing me with local bus routes and timetables for a visit to Niagara Falls.

The central location of the hotel makes it ideal for venturing out and exploring this city with CN tower being some 20 minutes by foot and Harbour Front just a bit more. Good location for shopping (Eaton Centre) as well as the financial district.

My only niggle was the noise from water pipes of adjoining rooms. Every time someone took a shower or flushed the toilet it woke me up which was annoying as I was trying to recover from lost sleep at different times of the day.
