“Awesome weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

Great weekend in Toronto and this hotel was a big part of it. Easy check in and clean rooms. Breakfast has more than enough for even the fussy eater. Close to the ACC and CN Tower and nice pubs across the street with great food. Would highly recommend this hotel. Good value and location rank it tops in my next travel plans to Toronto.

I was here for a one night stay on business. The hotel upgraded me to an executive room which was a nice large size and also a nice large washroom en suite. I was on the top floor and it was very quiet. View was of an apartment complex but that was fine. The upgrade included the breakfast buffet which was a nice touch. If I could add one thing it would be to add bottled water in the rooms. Otherwise a great experience. There is a nice Keg Restaurant with a few others directly across the street which was great. A great value!

Stayed for a concert so the location was excellent.
Fran's across the street was handy for a late after show drink.
Buffet breakfast included was good but wouldn't pay for it if it was an extra.
parking handy but not if you have a big car!
Room was ok but it was musty.
Pool was a mess, falling apart and change room was dark and gross. Skip the pool time.

Room Tip: Get up high for better view

This is a reasonable room for business travel. The hotel is within walking distance of the mall and eating areas. The restaurant in the hotel is overpriced and the service was extremely slow with one staff acting as host, waiter, cook and bus boy.

Got a great deal through their website in November, so booked two separate night stays for Dec. Arrived on the Sunday of the ice storm--great location, just 5 minute walk from Union Station. Room was fine, breakfast buffet adequate, and convenient to St. Lawrence Market and pubs as others have mentioned. Returned on the Friday for another single night's stay before taking the train home. Got room with terrific rain showerhead (well, it was terrific once I figured out how to turn it on). Looking forward to my next visit. Only wish they had some sort of guide to the TV channels, as there was a large selection but I couldn't find the channel guide. And for some reason my family was unable to leave a voicemail message for me on my room phone.

Decent hotel in a decent location. Nothing fancy but functional clean and ideally great for business. Really close to St.Lawrence market which is where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. 20 minute walk to downtown.
