We stayed at this Hotel for several nights.
A very pleasant suite, clean well cared for. Fridge and Microwave for the guest useage. King size bed with plenty of cushions / pillows. So if you wanted to watch TV in bed you could rest snuggly while watching your fav 'Soap' or movie.
Ample tea, coffee makings, with china teapot and china cups. Snacks available on the counter top with a tariff, so no surprises on check out, same as in the fridge for alchohol.
We needed to stay a little later for check out, on asking at the front desk the answer was "No Problem Absolutely !2:30pm will be fine".

Room Tip: free wifi secured too. Though this had a very long password 17 charaters long.

Arrived a couple weekends ago with friends. Check-in listed as 4pm but our rooms weren't ready and there seemed to be some confusion at the front desk, which we couldn't figure out and staff involved wouldn't offer any explanation. Spent unnecessary time having a snack in Portico, the hotel's restaurant. Room finally ready at 5:45 and bellman brought our friends' luggage up to their room and said he'd be bringing ours up next. We waited and waited and finally had to call down to guest services to remind them of our luggage. No apologies! Again, don't know what the confusion was at check-in, but staffperson made good by comping the four of us breakfast for the three mornings we would be there.

Speaking of breakfast, it's self-serve and it's decent if you have to eat there. I didn't find anything appetizing except for the English muffin or other baked muffins. The scrambled eggs were not great and the "fresh" fruit always had a slightly bitter taste as if it's in the process of going bad. We had booked 2 deluxe suites, which does not include breakfast, but because we were upgraded by the front desk, we took advantage of the free breakfasts. If time allows in the morning, I would suggest skipping Portico and venturing out to find a good breakfast place...there are plenty in the neighborhood.

Aside from breakfast, our room (#2008) was wonderful--clean and plenty of room. Our friends had trouble with their room(#2002) as their shower handle was very loose and only created a trickle of water. It was difficult for them to get to the shower due to a large plate glass installed on the tub instead of a shower curtain. Hotel might think this a nice looking modern upgrade to the room, but it's actually very impractical, as there's no way to turn on the tub/shower faucet without totally stepping into the tub to reach it.

I read a lot of TA reviews before booking at Cambridge Suites. It's in a great location, within walking distance to everything. I took the advice from many and booked our suites on an upper floor on the east side of the building. Highly recommend room 2008!

Only a few blocks to the kiosk for the Hop On/Hop Off double decker bus. Great way to see the city on our 3 day pass and highly recommend it.

Checked in on a Tuesday hotel was quiet and clean. As the week went on the stay went downhill, a few days without any maid service, the front desk staff advised I would have to wait until the next morning both times. Then a few younger travellers moved in across the hall, loud music and marijuana smoke. The front desk gave them warnings but not did ask them to leave, that affected our stay and our impression of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was alright, I would stick to cold food offerings. Front desk staff was hit and miss. The hotel is in a very convenient location to where out meetings were held and the rooms are large enough to work from. The beds are very firm.

First of all, great location. Within walking distance to most popular attractions in the downtown core.
I asked for a Deluxe Room but we actually got a 2 room suite. Great living area with kitchenette with sink, microwave, single serve coffee maker and refrigerator, sofa bed, latest flatscreen TV, lounge chair, good size desk for 2 with hub for your laptop. It also has sliding doors to the bedroom and a door to the dressing room which has a sink, large counter top, another closet and adjoining toilet, shower and separate tub. The bedroom has a king bed, desk and chair and another TV.

Room Tip: If you want a good sleep, ask for a room that doesn't face the main streets. A corner suite wa...

I was won over by the hotel from the citrus infused water that was available in the lobby. It was delicious! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was able to easily exchange money at the front desk. The room was very nice, I liked how the sink is not inside the bathroom, so it makes it easier to get ready if there is more than one person sharing the room. I ended up sleeping on a roll away bed and it was very comfortable. The location is also great--near Yonge Street and walking distance to Eaton Centre. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked this hotel based on the location and the reviews people had given it here on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed.
The location was perfect, great for shopping but also getting to the station and other major things. We also liked the fact that there were a couple of convenience stores and a drug store near by which was handy.

Checking in was easy and the guy was very friendly and our request for extra pillows had been taken care of.

Our room was really spacious, that was the best thing about it. Having space seems quite rare in hotels so it was lovely to have a separate living room and huge mirrored room between the bathroom and bedroom.
The shower was really good, always hot and with good pressure.
The bed was lovely and firm, just as we like it. Our room stayed really quiet and we were not bothered at all by city noises or even noise from other guests which was again, refreshing!

We would definitely stay here again.......here is the but:
I am awarding 4 stars (due to space, quiet, comfy bed and good shower) my husband would have given it 3 stars......
The decor in the room is getting quite shabby, definitely needs an overhaul and the other thing was a couple of things seemed to be a bit broken. Opening the door to the bedroom area the metal around the door knob came loose, and then the hand towel rail came clean off the wall when I tried to take the towel! These things are noticeable, it didn't spoil our stay, which is why I am still happy to give it 4 stars; but they do need to think about these fixtures soon.

Good location and good price. The room was spacious. Here's why I only gave it a 2. We ordered room service and on the plate with a slice of cheesecake were two tiny bugs. At first I thought they were just seeds from the berries that came on the side, but when I looked closer I saw that they were definitely bugs. My husband called to let them know and ask to credit us for the cheesecake. We had used a $20 off voucher when you spend $40. Because of this the woman my husband spoke with had to ask the manager if we could be credited since it would put us under the $40. The manager called us back to say they could credit us for the cheesecake but that they needed it back. They thought we were just pulling a fast one and ate it but didn't want to pay for it? Well, it wasn't a problem because I only had a couple of the berries. I just hope they didn't serve it to anyone else. Their reaction was as if they didn't believe us about the bugs. I expected them to be appalled and offer plenty apologies and maybe even credit us for our whole order. I mean they served us dessert with bugs and barely apologized! Maybe my husband was too nice when he called to let them know. It's unfortunate that being nice & calm doesn't get you the results you deserve. To top it off, when we checked out they didn't even ask how our stay was or say thank you. They could use some lessons in etiquette.
