We booked two double rooms through Otel and were a little worried because of the mixed reviews but the great price, location and fact we were only staying one night meant we risked it. And we were really glad we did. Yes it would help if you knew where the parking was - we parked by the hotel and one of us ran in to ask but I can imagine it would be a pain if you were travelling on your own.
I can't comment on the twin rooms but our doubles were perfectly adequate - particularly if you don't intend spending much time in them. And if you're in Toronto why would you spend much time in your room? They were clean, fresh and well designed. I loved the colour scheme. The sliding door didn't bother us as we never needed to close it. The bed was really comfy and I'm quite fussy.
The service we got at reception was good - we were there well before check in time but they sorted one room immediately and held our bags for the other room until we came back a few hours later.
No wifi included is annoying but for the price we got the room I couldn't moan. We just did without it and used wifi in the bars in town instead. The main niggle was the room card slot for the lift which did seem to be quite temperamental and didn't initially accept our card (which resulted in a trip up and back down to the lobby as someone called the lift from another floor whilst we were inside trying to get it to work). There seems to be a knack which you don't have when you first check in and try to go to your room.
The hotel is so close to everything we needed. There's a great microbrewery (The Three Brewers) just minutes away and the Eaton Centre is just round the corner.
Overall it was a good hotel for what we wanted and we would stay again if we got a similar price.
