“Welcoming Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

I stayed for 2 nights whilst en-route to St.Johns in Canada. Staff were very good and immediately resolved a couple of minor problems relating to the in-room safe. I was upgraded upon arrival and my room was spacious and very clean.

I ate breakfast each day which was waiter served. There was no buffet available. The food was good but not spectacular.

If I visit Toronto again I would definitely stay here again.

I don't stay a lot at this brand of hotel, but recently stayed there for a work conference. The room was spacious, well laid out, decent bathroom & amenities, comfy bed.
While I only had their catering during the meeting, the food was very good, both cold and hot, breakfast, lunch and snacks.
I did have room service in one instance and it was reasonable as room service goes, and also quite tasty.
The meeting space was as good as any I have used, and though I didn't call on the staff for much, they responded very quickly if we needed anything.
I would stay here again

Room Tip: Rooms facing Bloor have a bit of a view, but will be nosier

This is a great hotel, a bit off the beat and path from the CN tower, etc. but in a good location. The staff were great, they provide great upgrades at minimal to no cost, and the facility is clean, beds are comfortable, and the rooms are well kept.

I stayed many hotels in the world including in Toronto as well. This hotel was super nice!!

I always care about linen especially for bed. Their bed linen was awesome!! Before we spent $1000 for 1 night in Las Vegas for staying at hotel, their linen and Intercontinental Yorkville one are same quality even less price!! I felt if their towle is little better, would be perfect!!! I really strong recomend them!!

We hosted a conference at the Intercontinental Yorkville in mid October and were we ever impressed. This property is top notch. The front desk staff was never less than professional, They were able to assist with every question members of my group may have had. The rooms were impeccable and exquisitely appointed. They were clean and even though not cheap - fair value. Breakfast was really good too - fresh - and served with every attention paid to detail. Additionally, the hotel is wonderfully positioned - in close proximity to restaurants and shops.

A great find and I highly recommend it.

We stayed in town during the Toronto Film Festival and chose this hotel for the location to be near our 8:30 am film. What we didn't know was that it was so close to Yorkville ( i know, think about the name) which is the hippest couple of blocks in Toronto. It was so fun to walk to and from the hotel. The staff at the hotel was excellent and because of some friends very fancy car, I have to give a compliment to the valet staff who kept the car right in front which made our friends very happy. The room was lovely, comfortable, and quite large. We couldn't have asked for more.

This lovely Toronto Hotel is in a great location, within a couple of blocks if trendy Yorkville and easy to get around for a quick stay in Toronto and we enjoyed a very nicely appointed quiet room overlooking their garden courtyard. Lots of restaurants nearby, including Nervosa, a great casual Italian bistro.

Room Tip: Overlooking the courtyard is very quiet
