“Beautiful park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

What a busy park? I went jogging one afternoon and Ifound these park interesting because it's spacious and busy. Tennis courts are great. They're one for amateur and the other side is for beginners. These park is best suited for people who love to see sports especially when Toronto has a beautiful weather. There is soccer to watch, people jogging, picknicking, etc.

“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

Went to High Park with a Toronto friend, otherwise would not have discovered it and very impressed with the scope and planting. In the time available only saw a fraction of it, so it will be on our 'must do' list for our next Toronto visit.

“Lovely native zoo in a low key park.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Good area introduced to us by our Canadian relatives. It had not stood out in the tourist books.
Lots if lovely walking
An outdoor pool which was very busy being the school holidays.

A great playpark area for the kids using mostly wood and natural materials. My grandsons would have had hours of fun in the fort.
A small zoo -free to look around - not much you can get for free in Toronto! with lots of native animals such as bison and moose and to make me homesick a Highland cow and calf!

Only small criticism is the lack of eating places -one hot dog stall and an ice-cream van but it is within walking district of the local area shops and cafes.

A nice day out especially for those with children .

Impressed with the idea of enclosed dog walking areas. An idea we should adopt in Britain.

“A beautiful park!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Spend the afternoon walking through the beautiful paths, and admire the plants and flowers. Grab a bite to eat at the Grenadier restaurant or take the kids to visit the small zoo, or the newly renovated playground (by HGTV's Mike Holmes). Colborne House is nearby too.
