You can walk for hours with incredible scenery especially by the lake. See the swans and ducks everytime.

“Don't miss Shakespere in the Park!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

High Park is great for the day, especially if you start at West Bloor Village and work your way down. Personally, can't miss Shakespere in the Park there - but its nice any time.

“Great choice for families .... best of all FREE!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Large public park in Toronto. Focusing on the South East part of the park, there is a free small zoo. Probably about 20 pens with peacocks, mountain goats, emu, yak, bison, deer. Probably a good 30 mins - 1 hour. Also a large childrens playground close to the zoo. Includes a fairly newly built wooden castle complex for kids to explore. For a fee, there is a tram that you can take to other parts of the park, including cafe for lunch and a large natural pond. Cherry blossom's in the spring.

“Beautiful City Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

Always a pleasure to walk around the park. It's free, lots of paved paths, small zoo on site, lots of birds in the ponds (we saw Swans, Canada Geese, seagulls, Mallards, etc).
Neat history of the park. There is a play ground and free parking.

“Find Peace in the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

Large park in Toronto helps you get away from the city. Lots of trees, trails, walking and bike paths. Many hills and very beautiful along Grenadier Pond. Get off a High Park TTC station and walk south for 30 seconds, you can't miss it!
