We just spent 3 nights on the gold floor. It was a great place. The lobby is just amazing, old europe looking with the ceiling painted. We arrived, checked our car into valet, then was asked to go to the 12th floor to check-in. When we got there they gave us our keys and asked for the luggage tags, then lead to the lounge for d'oeuvres (which is served every night for 5-7). When we where done our luggage was in our room. As you would expect turn down serves every night. The next morning we got up for breakfast (included and served in the lounge) and meet a fellow guest Michelle Jean (Governor General). That evening my wife wreaked her heal and asked one of the employees if she knew where to take them to get fixed, she said to drop them off she'll take care of them. The next day her when we got back to the room they where there fixed no charge. During the day there is drinks and desserts in the lounge. The rooms are clean and roomy. Same with the bathroom. We'll be back every time we're in Toronto. There is a nice but little pool and more then a couple of good restaurants in the hotel. As well it's close to everything.
