“CN Tower”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2015 NEW

If you are afraid of heights....this isn't the spot for you.

The CN Tower is much more than just a tower. The architecture is pure brilliant. A must see destination for anyone taking a trip to Toronto.

Once you enter the tower at the base, there is a gift shop (just like every other tourist destination), a small restaurant, etc....just like the lobby of any building. Each ticket is about $30 bucks, you pay about $10 extra to go to the skypod (a section that's about 33 stories higher than the main lookout point). If you really want an adventure, you can pay a lot more to take a walk on the outside of the tower and do the "edge walk" (keep in mind, there is a harness...they're not totally crazy). I am convinced that the people who take the edge walk have to dress in all red jumpsuits just in case they fall, they will be easy to spot as they plummet to the ground, maybe not though.

Be sure to take the elevators with the glass floor. The view is breathtaking as you begin your ascent. Your ears will start to pop as you near the top. The place has everything, a restaurant, theater...you could spend hours upon hours there. My favorite part was the glass floor. Before going, I thought it wouldn't be a problem at all to walk out on the floor, but when I actually went out on that floor and looked down...it wasn't right...I was sooo nervous! The tons of little kids running around me on the floor didn't help at all..."STOP JUMPING!!!" I kept my cool though, took my pic and ran off of the glass! LOL

You have to stop here...it's a must. Good times!

“Nice views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2015 NEW

The tower was interesting - nice views, and a section with clear floor so you can see the ground below you. Best part of our visit was the 360 restaurant - got a great meal, and then you have access to the observation deck for free.

“An amazing few ours walking on The Edge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2015 NEW

My wife did the edge walk, which she loved this included a certificate and 2 photos and DVD as part of the deal. I just did the trip up the tower and eventually walked on the glass floor. Allowed me a free re-visit with my wife after her edge walk. Coffee and cake in The Horizon was nice and not to pricey

“Costly - may as well eat there too!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2015 NEW

We went for a birthday dinner. There was a fixe prix menu for $65 and $75 pp, appetizer, main course and dessert. The food looked and was nice - we were actually full when we left!
We noticed that it cost $32 for an adult to go up the CN Tower just to look at the view. If you eat at 360 - the rotating restaurant, the elevator fee is included.
It is a great vantage point to observe Toronto from. The fact that the restaurant actually rotates one full circle an hour gives you a view of the city and the lake.
We did not feel rushed and it is a pretty casual environment with a fancy edge. You could go in jeans or dress up.
I recommend booking dinner so that you have most of the view in daylight but can have dessert and coffee with a night view!
