Owner description: The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is among the world’s leading museums of natural history and world cultures. In combining a universal museum of cultures with that of natural history, the ROM offers an unusual breadth of experience to our audiences from around the world. We realize more acutely now that nature and humanity are intertwined, and the ROM offers many examples in its collections and programs of these fundamental relationships.

visited the ROM during Christmas vacations. Nice place but too crowded. Could see exhibit at a good pace.

“I only go here when it is free and I have kids to entertain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012

The ROM is in need of a content upgrade after its architectural upgrade. I was a part of the Young Patrons Circle and it got tiring after a couple months.

“My favourite place to wander...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012

One of my favourite places to spend a rainy day is wandering the hallways of the Royal Ontario Museum. With one of the best collections in North America, the ROM never ceases to delight people of all ages, no matter what your interest!

“Dinozzzzzzzzz.....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2012

Good museum as museums go, lots of beautiful artifacts. I rated it as average due to the the new wing. Growing up, my FAVORITE part of the museums was the dinosaurs. The old display had dinosuars set infront of rocks, grasses and under trees giving them a life-like appearance. Now they are all in a large room with white floors, walls, and ceilings-very boring and cold. Also not as interesting for young children who are there to learn about these creatures. It feels so sterile and boring-even I had trouble not falling asleep. Come on ROM...you can do better :)
