Owner description: The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is among the world’s leading museums of natural history and world cultures. In combining a universal museum of cultures with that of natural history, the ROM offers an unusual breadth of experience to our audiences from around the world. We realize more acutely now that nature and humanity are intertwined, and the ROM offers many examples in its collections and programs of these fundamental relationships.

“A Glorious Experience--over and over”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2011

The ROM is always a treat. Most recently we saw the Maya exhibit--on until early 2012--and were enthraled. It is a wonderful combination of pre-Columbian artifacts, hands-on replicas, video, and printed explanations that preclude the need for an audio tour. Allow at least 90 minutes--2 hours is better--for this exhibit.

“A good place to spend the day.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2011

The ROM has a good selection of exhibits to spend the day and conveniently located downtown surrounded by shops and restaurants. Price is too high ($25/adult) for what it is, and only worth going if you get a better price.

It will take a whole day to truly see everything here. Well organized and I hope to visit again some day.
