“Nice patio, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

We came here for the rooftop patio which is nice but crowded. We were seated very close to tables on both sides which made our experience less intimate. Arrive early--it's small and fills up, and people stay for drinks for hours! But, the waiting area in the 2nd floor library is cozy and the bartender took care of us. The food was very good, a little expensive, and served well. I had a nice Malbec, and my husband enjoyed the stout on tap.

“Have a G&T”

Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Fish and chips are quite good. Definitely try their famous gin and tonic.

“Good Food, Good Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

This is a good, solid traditional pub. The menu is gastro-pub, with modern tweaks to traditional pub fare. Excellent beers on tap, good wine list, and pretty good service.

It's a little pricey for a pub, but the food is better than average.

Nice patio on the second floor.

“Great place! Go there!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

This place was really close to the hotel we were staying at, and so we decided to try it. The way this place is done up gives us the impression of a very authentic pub. The atmosphere in there is really good, and the service is what you would expect - straight to the point, but polite. Definitely reminded me of England, and that was a good thing. This was definitely a Man United pub, so I am not sure if you would want to venture in there with a Liverpool jersey on, but I really liked it. The food was also pretty good! The burger was delicious. I did not care for the fries too much, it seemed like they were cold and slightly stale. I would definitely return for the ambiance though! If you are looking for an authentic British pub experience, then look no further!

“Great fish and chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

The pub is set up to replicate a high quality old fashioned English pub and it achieved this. great dining, the fish sanf chips were fresh with a light batter. the decor was classic. You will pay more for a similar lower quality meal on the main Yonge street.
